6mm stitching for hitting area on the men with 8mm Naname-zashi (diagonal stitching) on the flap for good balance between protection, easy to look, comfort and look. The naname-zashi gives it a sharp impression with good & tight fitting, and its natural form. Its long menbuton and structurally strong men give good protection against missed blows . The menbuton are highly elastic while being slightly on the thinner side. Hence, overall a great bogu for kids and young teenager starting their kendo journey.
KOTE
Orizashi kote with synthetic yakawa to give stronger durability on the kote especially near the fist area from
wear & tear during practice. Its kotebuton have better structural strength to disperse incoming blows and good elasticity despite being adequately thick. The good stuffing on the finger tips and adequate stuffing on kera ensures good protection from in coming strikes. While the distance between the kera and base of the thumb is short makes it easy to use and allows good shinai gripping.
