Completely handmade shinai made by Yamaguchi Yoshiaki, who has over 50 years experience as a specialized shinai-craftsman. The material is Phyllostachys bambsoides from Tamba, Kyoto, which is the highest quality among Madake from Japan. He selects the most suitable bamboo for your chosen type of shinai, and makes products for you. 
Please note that this item comes as bamboo only. 

The shinai is available in size of 39 only.
