Sora is a handstitch bogu that expresses the deep beauty of a bogu with its aesthetic and functionality. Design with strong desire to unite comfort, protection, function, and aesthetic. The bogu is design following traditional method, in the hand of mastercraftsman like Ito-san, traditional design is given new breath of life when mixed with modern sensibilities and needs. Giving birth to a bogu a class of its own with high level of ergonomics, easy to use and aesthetic that can be said reaching to art like level without sacrificing protection, function and capability.  MADE IN JAPAN.

SHORT OVERALL REVIEW ON TARE

Sora (Tare) offers superb protection and aesthetic. Superb thickness and elastic Haraobi for protection, while the kongawa kumo-kumokazari design adds durability and aesthetic. The gunomezashi on the odare allows thick tarebuton that offers good protection and easy to shape. Great cotton stuffing in between kazari and the kanto-zashi design adds further protection and aesthetic. Hence, it is great for practice, grading and competition. A great tare for experienced, higher Dan kendoka and practical as a primary and secondary set.

However,  its weight is not suitable for competitive kendoka that prefer light weight bogu for added edge in competition. It is also not meant for beginner and unsuitable for lower Dan kendoka.
