SHORT OVERALL REVIEW ON KOTE

Tsuru (kote) short length, thickness and high number of material in kotebuton with kongawaboushi and its great structural strength ensure superb protection. The deer fur stuffing near the finger tips, kera and wrist are superb. The position of the thumb bent inwards gives it great shinai handling, however its kera and based of thumb distance is slightly apart. Overall this kote is suitable for grading, practice and shiai. A great kote for experience kendoka hoping for a primary kote.

However, it is not be appropriate for beginner and competitive kendo wanting for lighter equipment for edge.
