The story of "EIKO BUDOGU"

In 1992 by Yoshiaki Madokoro 's father. His father who started kendo when he was 30 years old got interested in kendo equipment and decided to open their own shop. Eiko budogu main office situated near SengenDai in Saitama.

Originally Eiko budogu focus on yoroi-type (armor-like) bogu. Following modern trend they now shift towards comfortable and easy to use bogu while maintaining good protection. Eiko is among the pioneer towards making bogu equipment accessible to the masses with affordable bogu price.

Currently their focus on making bogu not only geared towards competitive kendo player but balancing also toward the masses needs. Great attention towards details and severe quality control has made Eiko product synonymous with great quality.

Born December 8th, 1987 in Tokyo
Graduated from Keio University's Faculty of Law.

Started Kendo at 5 years old at the Tokyo-budokan (located in Ota-ku, Tokyo), and continued kendo club activities throughout Keio junior high school and Keio high school, and during Keio University Athletic Association's Kendo association, as well as Nomura Securities' Kendo association.

Started KENDO PARK services in 2017.

Major kendo accomplishments include:
・Second place in Kanagawa prefecture's high school kendo tournament
・Best 8 in Kanto students' new player tournament
・Best 16 in All-Japan Business Organization Kendo Tournament, etc.
