Tsuru or crane is considered an animal with great beauty in traditional Japanese culture. It is also known as one of the sacred bird that possessed longevity. This bogu represent that spirit of exceptional beauty and a design that is evergreen while maintaining deeply rooted in the fundamentals. It is in a class of its own.

SHORT OVERALL REVIEW ON DO

Tsuru (do) domune have superb hardness & strong structure and good thickness makes giving it great protection. The heavy takedo adds more protection making it superb. The small size domune protects the user while allowing a lot of range of movement. A superb do for advance kendoka for practice, grading or competition.

However, its sozashi design and small domune makes it less suitable for jodan player and this do is not for beginner. Kendoka that prefer light weight equipment for serious competition might not like this do.
