SHORT OVERALL REVIEW ON KOTE

Tonbo (Kote) offers great protection and better function. Kote is light weight, its futon is long and stiff maximizing protection on the wrist. Shikage (deer fur) stuffing is great on the finger tips, wrist and good in kera giving protection from misblows. It well suited for practice, grading and competition.  It is a good Kote for experienced player and also as practical as a primary or secondary set.

However, the kote is not for kendo beginners.
